Hi, I’m Billy Moyer.
I’m an author, speaker, and leadership and organizational development expert. I am passionate about helping leaders develop their full potential.
When I was only four years old, I went through my first goal setting program. It was in that program that I set my first goal: become a speaker just like my dad, Bill Moyer. By age seven, I spoke at my first event and haven’t stopped speaking yet.
I’ve spoken over 1250 times in my 25+ year speaking career to corporations and associations about leadership and goal setting. I now mostly speak on organizational change and transition, culture, the Millennial workforce and collaboration.
I am the Founder & President of SOS Leadership Institute, an international leadership development resource center. Over the past 11 years, SOS Leadership has become a top organizational development firm in Texas. SOS has coaches and trainers throughout the US and in three other countries. SOS builds leaders, changes cultures and improves results.
As part of my work with SOS Leadership, I have served as the interim CEO or COO of several companies in transition and have trained thousands of leaders. SOS Leadership’s core offering is called Chief People Officer where SOS coaches serve as the CPO for their clients handling all of their people development and people operations. The CPO helps shape the culture.
I have co-authored four books, Seeds of Success: A Journey from Success to Significance, Retreat to Success: Living Your Life on “Purpose”, The Turnaround: If You Don’t Grow, You Go!, and my latest book called Beware of Alligators and Ugly Stuff.
On my blog and through my speaking, I share with you personal strategies for taking charge and being the boss of your life as well as strategies for business success.
I currently live in Austin, Texas with my wife, Ashley Alaniz-Moyer. Together we make a formidable team of two as we tackle numerous projects through our joint venture, Bashley Collaborative. We released the I Do, We Do podcast in 2018 where we chat about collaboration, communication, goal setting and how we have built an epic partnership even though we are complete opposites!
I’d love to connect with you and learn about your passion and your goals. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you whether it is speaking at an event, guiding your company through organizational challenges to next level growth or just to serve you in some way.
